The short version of the order form you sign. If the two ever differ, the order form you signed is the one that counts.
Our terms
1. What you pay and when
- No setup fee. There is nothing to pay to start.
- Nothing to pay until your site is live and you have approved it. You see your website first.
- Your first month after go-live is free. Your first payment is taken one month after go-live.
- Then monthly in advance, on the same day each month, with the payment method you set up when you signed. We send a receipt for every payment.
- 30-day refund. If you cancel within 30 days of your first payment, we refund that first payment in full.
2. How long it lasts and how to cancel
- Month to month. There is no minimum term.
- Cancel any time, by the cancel link in your receipt or by email to us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for. There is no cancellation fee.
- We may end the service with 30 days' notice, or at once if you do not pay within 14 days of a reminder or you use the service unlawfully.
3. You own your domain and your content
- Your domain is registered in your name. We give you the login or the transfer code on request. ICANN locks a newly registered or transferred domain for 60 days, so a transfer code can only move it once that lock has passed; the domain is yours either way.
- You own what you give us and the text we write for your site. You confirm you have the right to use anything you send us (photos, logos, reviews).
- Data export. For 30 days after cancellation you can ask for a copy of your content and data (pages, images, form entries, bookings) in a standard format. After 30 days we delete it, except what the law requires us to keep.
4. What we do not promise
- No compliance guarantee. We build to good practice, but we do not promise that your site meets every law that applies to your business, and we never promise it is “ADA compliant”. You are responsible for your own legal duties, licences and the accuracy of what your site says.
- No promise of search rankings, leads or sales. We say what we will build, not what it will earn.
5. Personal data
What we do with personal data is on our privacy page. Where we handle personal data for you (for example form entries or bookings), we act as your processor under a data processing agreement that forms part of your order.
